Saddle up in Sligo

Nothing beats the feel of the clear air in your lungs and the wind in your hair. The excitement of crossing open moorland and mountains astride an intelligent well bred horse. It’s the different perspective, which allows you to truly experience the wildness and constantly changing landscape of this part of Ireland.

Depending upon whether you fancy a headlong gallop in the white Atlantic foam or a trek in the wilderness, the terrain will vary from long empty beaches to moors, forest trails, mountain paths and lakeshores.

The many family run riding centres welcome unaccompanied children. It’s a fantastic opportunity for kids to join the chaotic mixture of small animals, wonderful horses and other children. Full supervision, quality instruction, and unforgettable moments assured.
